"The Texican Famine That Didn't Happen," by T. Dylan Daniel. Charlene’s world is upset by the loss of her mother, but she has talent. Will she rise above her vulnerability and find her place in a high-tech society, or will her abilities be used against her in an attack on her civilization?

"This Isn't Heaven," by Rionna Morgan. Magic has always been real, and those who wield it managed to save Ireland from the cataclysms of the twenty-first century. However, even witches have their weaknesses, and the tenderness of the heart might make a perfect target. Will Ireland fall because of love?

After the nuclear fallout of the 21st century cataclysm, the Great Lakes Region of what used to be the United States is now the Wolverine Isles - a corporate-controlled utopia which produces the most cutting-edge technology in the western hemisphere. This independent state is ruled by the immortal cybernetic CEO of Spartan Aquatics, the Witch Queen of the Wolverine Isles, and now the RSA has decided it's time to be rid of her.

"The Midnight Warrior of Ikshavarka," by Aparna Merchant (Quanta). The Ikshavakra tribe have always existed in the realm between time and space. In the conflicts of Earth in 2323, they are forced to reveal themselves to save their fragile human neighbors. Now that that they can no longer hide, will they find allies or only enemies?
